Tim Tam and the Spots

By: Jenny Meilihov illustrations: Jenny Meilihov

Tim Tam is a young ladybug who doesn’t have any spots of her own. Accompanied by her mother, she sets out to look for spots. Every time she finds one, she gets a little bigger and becomes a little more independent. This new book about growth and independence is accompanied by artistic illustrations that invite the children to search for the next dot themselves.

Age Group: TODDLERS

Tim Tam, a girl-ladybug, goes for the first time on a journey of growth in search of dots. Her mother mentors and accompanies Tim Tam until she learns to find dots all by herself. Toddlers taking their first steps and discovering their own independence, can identify with Tim Tam, who is discovering her abilities, learning, and developing. The special illustrations contained in this book invite us on a search and to pay attention as well.

There is not a single blade of grass that does not have a constellation in the firmament that strikes it and says to it: ‘Grow!’
