is Israel’s largest children’s literacy program, gifting quality books to hundreds of thousands of children from infancy to second grade all across the country.
Sifriyat Pijama encourages reading and helps to instill a 
of books and original Hebrew writing. The 
accompany children in their educational settings, communities, and homes. This gets them involved in meaningful discussions, intimate moments of family 
, engaging activities like arts & crafts, and lots of fun as each new 
arrives.
The books feature values of Israeli-Jewish culture and also expose readers to the stories and ritual of other Jewish communities, helping children to see themselves as an integral part of the diverse tapestry of Israeli society and the Jewish people

Sifriyat Pijama ®
was founded by Keren Grinspoon Israel, and has been collaborating with the Israeli Ministry of Education in Pre-K and kindergartens since 2009, and elementary schools since 2016. It is offered in state, state-religious, and special-education educational facilities. Moreover, participating books have been approved by both state and state-religious representatives in the ministry.
Many thousands of educational facilities participate in the Sifriyat Pijama program.
Sifriyat Pijama for Little Kids ®
was founded in 2015 by Keren Grinspoon Israel for the older daycare-goers ages 2–3. In 2023, the program was expanded to include younger daycare-goers ages 12–24 months. KGI operates the program in over 1,000 participating daycare centers across the country.
Every book in all of our programs includes suggestions for activities and discussions to deepen children’s understanding of the values and ideas in the story. These suggestions provide wonderfully unique opportunities for engagement in the classroom and meaningful bonding in the family.
