Four Shlofnoche in a Boat

By: Ori Alon illustrations: Menahem Halberstadt

“Without too much effort, four Shlofnoche sailed the sea….” But – oh, no! They suddenly discover a hole in the boat! What will the Shlofnoche do? Will any of them be resourceful enough to fix the problem? A humorous story about personal and social responsibility.

Age Group: FIRST GRADE

The four schlofnoche discover there is a hole in their boat. They want to do something about it, they really do, but… they don’t make much of an effort to resolve the issue. These amusing creatures’ rhyming, entertaining light tale allows readers to stop and wonder: How do we deal with the ”holes” in our boats in our everyday lives? When do we make an effort to resolve an issue, and when do we content ourselves with merely discussing it, instead of making the time and effort to fix it?
