An Egg for Shabbat

Ima sends Joshua to fetch an egg from the coop, but – oh, no! – the egg breaks! Joshua and his mother, however, don’t despair. Every day, Joshua sets out on his mission, learning a little more about the world and about how to bring an egg home without breaking it. Told in verse, it is a story about practice and independence, accompanied by surprising comic-book-style illustrations.
